YOUNG PEOPLE'S ZONE

YOUNG PEOPLE'S Zone

A page dedicated to young people involved in football

Football should always be safe and fun so you can enjoy the game.
Safeguarding is in place across the game for children’s & youth football through to and including open-age/adult football to help support a positive experience, however occasionally this is not the case.

If you feel unsafe or worried about something, talk to an adult you trust such as a parent, teacher, your football coach, or the Welfare Officer at your club. They will listen and help you to Play Safe.
You can also contact Neil Churcher here at Durham County FA, if you think that would be better, by sending an email to safeguarding@durhamfa.com or by phoning 0191 3872928 and asking for Neil.

Neil is the Safeguarding Officer with Durham County FA and he can provide advice and support to you.

If you think your club is very good at providing a safe and fun experience, feel free to let us know what they are doing so well - we like to share good practice to other clubs so that everyone can continue to improve what they provide. Email safeguarding@durhamfa.com

Below is your chance to ask Neil a question. All questions will be taken seriously and are confidential.
