Young people aged between 15-24 have an opportunity to help shape and develop the future of local grassroots football by joining Durham County FA Youth Forum. 

Durham County FA Youth Forum was formed in 2017 and has enjoyed a mix of knowledge and experience from members, who have come from various parts of our region which covers seven local authority areas - South Tyneside, Gateshead, Sunderland, County Durham, Darlington, Hartlepool and Stockton-on Tees.

Our aim is to give a voice to and engage with younger people who are volunteering in football in our area to share information and get ideas about how we can continue to improve the game.

The group can also be involved in the planning and delivery of events such as a Community Football Day, a Youth Leadership Academy or our Annual Awards Ceremony.

Being involved can certainly help further develop your skills and knowledge of grassroots football.

Members of the Forum will have occasional meetings hosted by DCFA staff - either face-to-face or online
