In this round of funding Tyne & Wear Sport have chosen to focus specifically on providing funding for marketing material which will specifically provide clubs with the opportunity to increase and attract participants to their club.

Grants of between £100 and £500 will be available.

In order to be eligible for funding clubs must meet the eligibility criteria which can be found here.

Clubs who apply must have a specific focus on increasing participation and be committed to enhancing the quality and quantity of sporting provision on offer.

All applications must be able to clearly provide the following information in the application:

• background information about the club i.e. current membership, age groups etc.
• the reason for requesting funding
• how the funding will increase participation
• budget breakdown.

Please be aware it is expected the demand for this funding to be extremely high, therefore only those applications which meet all the criteria and provide a clear understanding of how this funding will increase participation within the club will be considered.

All applications must be submitted on the official application form, which can be found below.

Funding will be released once a club provides copies of the club constitution, proof of purchase and an image of the marketing material incorporating the Tyne & Wear Sport logo.
