RETURN OF OUTDOOR COMPETITIVE GRASSROOTS FOOTBALL
RETURN OF COMPETITIVE GRASSROOTS FOOTBALL
We have received the green light to allow contact football in training and friendly matches and from September the start of league games.
This decision has been reached due to a lot of planning and consideration between County FA's and The Football Association during this very difficult time.
Below you will find links to all correspondence issued regarding the planned return however I need to stress that the following must be in place to protect all of our members.
1) A risk assessment must be in place to ensure all parties are aware of requirements. It is the Club's responsibility to ensure that there is a Risk Assessment in place for each site they use. An example Risk Assessment is included in the links below.
2) Teams and Match Officials must be affiliated to the County FA for the 2020-2021 season. This provides insurance for all.
3) Permission must be received from the facility/owner/landlord before any training/friendlies can take place. If this is not obtained it would be classed as trespassing and also no insurance would be in place for anyone participating.
4) Details of any friendly matches which must include both teams, date, match official(s), venue and kick off time must be provided to the County FA at least 72 hours before the activity takes place.
