Durham FA Women’s Recreational League, hosted at Downhill Football Hub one Sunday a month, launched in October 2022 and has seen 10 teams take part in its first year of existance.

Games are 7 a side, with 24-minute matches consisting of two 12-minute halves.

The league hosts fixtures each month and is open to women aged 18 or above who are either beginners or returning to football after a break.
