Following contact from several Clubs we have been asked to clarify the situation regarding the process in relation to playing friendly fixtures.

All teams playing friendlies must contact The Durham County Football Association providing the following details;

• Details of both teams:
• Match Official:
• Date:
• Venue:
  
• Kick Off Time:

These details are required to ensure the fixture is logged in case of any insurance matters which may occur from it.

Any teams playing in a friendly must ensure that both teams and the match official are affiliated/registered for the 2019/2020 season and have Public Liability and Player Personal Accident Insurance cover in place.

The aforementioned is there to protect Clubs and Players.

To request permission for a friendly please email a request which MUST include all the above information to Kerry.Topping@DurhamFA.com at least 4 clear days before your friendly.
