Durham FA - Player Development Centres 2019-20

Durham FA’s Player Development Centre provides a weekly opportunity for boys and girls of all abilities, to access high level coaching in an environment that promotes freedom and expression

The Durham FA Player Development Centre is a specialist Foundation Phase Football Centre, aimed at boys and girls of all abilities, aged 6-11 years (Year 2 – Year 6). Children can attend regardless of whether they play for a grassroots football club or not.
 
The Player Development Centre will place the players into a comprehensive, age appropriate, technical and tactical training programme; whilst also looking to support their holistic development. The sessions consist of a range of Small Sided Games and game related practices, in a fun, safe, learning environment; where the players are encouraged to play with freedom and expression, without the fear of failure. 

Chester-le-Street

Where:Riverside Sports Complex (Outdoor 3G), Chester le Street, DH3 3SJ

When: Wednesday’s, 5.00-6.00pm

Who for: 6-11 years (Year 2-6) 

Cost: £4.00 per session (paid as part of a block booking)
FREE taster session available on request
Sedgefield

Where: Sedgefield Community College (Sports Hall), TS21 3DD

When: Friday’s, 5.00-7.00pm

Who for:
4-7 years (Reception - Year 2) – 5.00-6.00pm
7-12 years (Year 3 - 7) – 6.00-7.00pm

Cost: £4.00 per session (paid as part of a block booking)
FREE taster session available for new players.
 
The Player Development Centre is delivered by FA and UEFA Licenced Coaches, who are FA First Aid trained, FA Safeguarding trained and hold a valid Enhanced CRC Check.
